7 gifts on my Christmas present list in case anyone wants to know!

It’s always worth being hopeful and let’s face it there’s nothing worse than getting things you don’t want. So here’s a list of 7 presents I’d like for Christmas just in case anyone wants to know! And most importantly ideas for you too.

And obviously it’s important to support other small businesses. One of the benefits of taking Reg&Bob to events is you get to meet other business owners and see first hand some fabulous and unique products that you’re unlikely to see on the high street. So when the event season starts - I’m brimming with ideas….

A cookery book to join my current stack is traditional at Christmas. I’ve made some very successful meals following a new (for me) Instagram account so Anna’s Family Kitchen (£25) is definitely on the list. Over 70 easy to follow recipes to keep the family happy - I can’t recommend enough

No Christmas is without chocolate and my latest discovery is Russell & Atwell. I saw these organic fresh cream chocolates on Dragons Den and some very quick action secured me an order before they were cleaned out. The salted caramel are sublime. Store in the fridge but they are so moreish it’s very hard to resist their call. I will be ordering my own triple pack and will reluctantly pop one in each of my boys stockings (not Reg and Bob obviously)

I’m slow to the party on this but have been told many times by helpful friends that silk pillowcases are the answer to ageing gracefully and dealing with frizzy hair. So a silk pillowcase is not only on the list but already ordered from This is Silk (£49.99) just to be absolutely sure it’s in my stocking. Roll on the new me in the New Year!

If you follow Reg&Bob you will know I often shout out a favourite small business Tam Mason who makes amazing hand and body sugar scrubs -which I can’t recommend enough. Her recently released nourishing hand oil (£22) for extra TLC is definitely on my list

I love Brownstone.London and their fabulous scented candles and diffusers but they also make a range of monochrome beauty bags and one of their large cosmetic bags (£25) is definitely on the list - and I don’t even mind which of the 8 designs either.

I’m always in the market for a warm scarf for walking Reg and Bob -infact if my neck’s warm I’m pretty warm all over so the range of scarves, wraps and shawls from SookiTwist is the answer. I have my eye on one of the beautiful handwoven Himalayan wool scarves (£40+) but do check out the website’s range of unique, artisan-designed, and fairly traded beauties.

And lastly I’m always admiring the super stylish bags (£65) and indeed absolutely everything else from Atelier Kika B . Giusi’s passion for Italian design and fashion means she selects the very best for her online shop. Check out her Instagram too for limited lines.

So that’s my Christmas list - not tooooo greedy! I always have realistic expectations about Christmas but love having lots of ideas and it’s great to treat yourself from time to time. I hope my ideas are useful for you too- there’s a huge community of small businesses out there and it’s great to be able to support them.

Here’s to a happy and peaceful Christmas.
